I had to abandon #Codeigniter due to complications with most webhostings. I'm about to learn #ProcessWire - seems to be a good choice for my needs.

It swaps out links to tweets with their text content from #oEmbed, removes twitter's shortning/#tracking links

I love #processWire but, at the risk of starting a flame war!, I am giggling at the use of tabs not spaces.

I've seen so much incorrectly indented code in third party modules because someone's used a mix of tabs and spaces where they presumably forgot, or couldn't see because in their editor n spaces looks the same as 1 tab etc.

Shout out to #processWire tge #openSource cms/CMF which I'm enjoying implementing a website in. The community and docs are really great resources.

Top tip: when looking at a reference page and it says: available since version x, search blog for x and there's likely a great explanation of why and how for the feature, with motivations, discussion, example uses.

I once built a website on #ModX and #ProcessWire and I loved them both.

@stpaultim @backdropcms I liked d7 but d8, d9, soon d10 are too expensive to maintain (and clunky!). I'd have followed to backdrop if it weren't for the decision to embed page manager.

Fwiw I'm now keen on #processwire as a sensible follow-on from d7, though #civicrm runs on backdrop so if I fail in my efforts to get that running standalone then backdrop will be preferable!

The more I create #multilanguage sites with #WordPress, the more I am determined to find a PHP CMS that does #i18n properly (i.e. not an afterthought as with WordPress).

Polylang Pro is weak, WPML is powerful but extremely fiddly, and multisite doesn't couple things tightly enough across languages.

I just found #ProcessWire which looks interesting, and there are various Laravel-based CMSes like #Lavalite which might also be potential solutions. I just need some time to play a bit.

I have been reading about #tiddlywiki It reminds me a lot of #processwire even tho the use cases are very different. In common, they both have "everything is a page" and user custom fields

#indieweb - Great news - cross posting to Twitter is working on my #ProcessWire install. AND I fixed my redirect issues too. I'll look into my feeds later. Just really happy I've made progress on my indiewebifying things.

Quickie before I sleep - a #CSS menu I made that's mostly compact vertically, but still a drill down menu (mostly). Still deciding on how I'll visually separate entries. But for now I'm happy with the UI interaction.

#processwire #indieweb #fediverse - Made some progress on the IndieWeb implementation for fed.brid.gy on my PW install. There was no module for WebSubs, so I started writing one. Right now it only focuses on the publisher's side since that's what I'm concerned about.

Preview is a slightly outdated screenie since it's not asking the user where the feeds store the searches that gen the feeds. Otherwise, am pretty happy. Just nees to test the page save hook code now.
