#Prodeus is a fun throwback to early shooters with a killer visual style. Always love when devs combine the aesthetics of old games with modern rendering tech.

Only knock against it is they mapped sprint to *holding down* the left stick. That is... a choice.

Prodeus works a treat on Steam Deck!

The only issue I've noticed is some fire effects have an odd flicker. If you're blazing through a level you probably wouldn't notice.

It has come to my attention that no one on my Steam friends list has Prodeus wishlisted. They also don't own it. I have to assume they just don't know it exists.

Hey all.

Was quiet yesterday because it was a long, busy one (I ended up being awake 15 minutes shy of 21 hours XD) But! I think it went well, so now we just wait the 6 weeks or so until the results come out, lol

Reminder that there's no stream tomorrow, but I will be back on Tuesday with #Prodeus, then next Friday the AM streams return with #Klonoa - it's gonna be nice having a chance to chat with you all again.

#Prodeus, somehow, is more evocative of playing the original Doom back in the 90s than re-playing the original Doom is. Which is quite an achievement

I absolutely dig #Prodeus game on #NintendoSwitch

Devs totally nailed this mix of brutal, intense, twitch reflex fights with moments when you can just stop for a moment, take a deep breath and unload your chaingun into horde of slow zombies.

Twitch update!

It's the last day before my exam, so much like last week there isn't going to be a #LateNiteGav stream tonight, but I will be back next week with the third part of my #Prodeus stream.

I've also got to postpone the #Klonoa stream planned for this Friday - there's a lot of stuff I need to do that I've put off over the past month, so I'm pushing that back a week.

Sorry for the flakiness of the past month, but it's almost over - promise!

Tried #Prodeus randomly on Game Pass. Had no idea what it was. What a gem. Vintage FPS aesthetic with a thoroughly modern feel. Hats off to Bounding Box Software. Nothing's grabbed me like this since Hollow Knight.
