@garry. Problems with #hearing was one of my father's first symptoms of #Alzheimer's. It happened decades before the #diagnosis, & is what #doctors call a #prodrome, an early indicator of something wrong, of a #disease in progress, not fully visible, just waiting to appear. I write about the audiologist who asked my mother how long she & my father had been married, and when she told the doctor decades, he replied that my father didn't want to listen to her anymore.
