Finally understood what #productOps is (very interesting session at Product at Heart conference today!) It’s great to have a name for lots of things I’m love doing and where I’ve never been sure wether or not this is really port of my job. But it also gave me some flashbacks into my first years in product where I saw two of the best #agileCoache|s I ever worked with leaving the company because of all the resistance they got while trying to introduce product ops (which wasn’t called like this back then). I’m wondering if product ops will really have an impact or if it will end up as "agile journey 2.0" 🤔

@RakowskiBartosz In my understanding any coach role is temporary, maybe not in the org but with your clients or teams. Some tech companies with bigger agile org have switched to internal "coaching/facilitation as a service" which I think makes a lot of sense.
#ProductOps on the other hand is ment as an internal role in bigger product orgs.
Controversal article by Marty Cagan around the layoffs of the Agile Coaches department at Capital One.
No, Agile Coaches are not #ProductOps but the idea is interesting and worth the debate.

do any of you know senior #product #operations folks (someone who provides pipeline & delivery leadership/design) who would be willing to take on a mentor role for one of my team members?
