Even if you accept that the way to combat inflation is to remove money from the economy by taking it off people, why is the accepted way to do it BY GIVING IT TO THE FUCKING BANKERS??
There are many ways to take money off people that don't result in people/businesses getting it. Raising taxes for example. If you take it out of the economy by raising taxes then at least the Govt. can spend it on good stuff.
