Approaching zero hour on #projectilhome - this came together quickly to say the least. Close to the family we need to stay close to, outside IN, due north of current coord (snow? Pl0x?), and maybe not the house I want to grow old in but a foothold in all the cultural, political, etc that we’ve missed for so long!

Yeah, #illinois I’ll gladly pay those extra couple dollars of taxes because they come back to both me and the gen pub in spades!

PS moving sucks, but w/e, good fam helps a LOT.

#ProjectILHome It’s not lost on me at all how fortunate we are to have such a wide acceptable target area - back of napkin that’s > 10k sq miles , choices people just didn’t have as little as five years ago.

#grateful for the flexibility and easy access to get there on the ground, and for fungible (but fast) timeline.

#ProjectILHome a bounding box consisting of I-74 to the north, the #illinoisriver to the west, the all important state line to the east, and I-70 to the south.

Those aren’t hard lines, #champaignurbana area north of 74 is just fine for example, but it covers CU, #BloomingtonIL and #NormalIL , #peoria , #springfieldil , #decaturil, and #EffinghamIl (and Charleston and such).
