what really sets apart #UBW abridged by #ProjectMouthwash from other abridged series is that in spite of the comical exaggerations and outlandish portrayals of characters and plotlines, it's still abundantly clear the series' thorough understanding and immense reverence to the source materials. time and time again the show humorously drops in lore accurate tidbits that expand upon the perspectives of things even the vn glossed over due to limitations of its medium (that being narrated in a first person perspective). i can only imagine what the anime adaptations could've been like had it been directed by the writers at ProjectMouthwash instead
