Solar filament eruption and weak, C5.2 flare from yesterday in AR 13397. This event also appears to be associated with a CME.

A prominence over the Sun's northwest limb erupted earlier today. Footage captured by GOES/SUVI and SDO/AIA in 304 Å (pictured in red) and 171 Å (pictured in gold), respectively, show the complex dynamics of the prominence material as it rises through the corona.

The eruption appears to be associated with a coronal mass ejection visible in SOHO/LASCO white light coronagraphs.
