Die Konservativen im Europäischen Parlament riskieren das gesamte KI-Gesetz, indem sie einen Kompromiss zum Schutz der Grundrechte aufkündigen. Biometrische Überwachung im öffentlichen Raum muss konsequent und vollständig verboten werden. Mit ihrem Verhalten gefährdet die EVP den Schutz unserer Demokratien im digitalen Zeitalter.
