My spouse who is visibly #trans has to drive home from Minneapolis to Arizona this week, but to get there they have to travel through either North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and/or Kansas. With all this anti-trans hate going on right now in the red states, I am very very concerned for their safety. Every trip to the bathroom could potentially mean a fight with law enforcement or a violent encounter with a bigot with a gun. This shouldn't have to be. #protecttransrights
