100 followers · 1161 posts · Server mastodon.socialAnyway, other proud-warrior-races like the Klingons of #StarTrek, or proud-religious-warrior-races like the Minbari of #Babylon5, its a lot easier to get an impression of what their cultures are like because you're watching characters like Worf, Martok, Delenn and Neroon interact in different contexts and with people outside of their society.
In the #StarCraft games you mostly see #Protoss interacting with each other, and (at least as far as I've played) in a fairly limited manner.

What merit do they see in their tradition? What are the gods and heroes in their pantheon, and what values do they articulate?
How does being in psychic contact with each other affect them? Do they pity non-psychics? Or are they contemptuous? Or perhaps frightened?

We can tell some things about them - they are very serious, value tradition, have a rigid society of some kind and sort of have the proud-warrior-race-guy thing going on. So sort of Glacially Conservative Psychic Minbari Space Elves?
