Whether you're managing your own homelab or a development environment, kvmcli makes it easy to get started.
The main idea behind this project is to make kvmcli my primary tool for provisioning virtual machines in my homelab workflow.
This project is part of a larger personal project that I've been working on (my homelab project). I will share more information about it soon.

Yah. I've been happy with #DigitalOcean but I never really gave #Linode enough of a try. Since most of my cloud servers are #IAAS, and predate my #provisioning work, #migrating (and #OS #upgrading) is a bit of a nightmare. Plus being rather impoverished ATM doesn't help. I need to re-learn my #Ansible skillet and possibly #Puppet (which I've used exclusively in my personal provisioning to date). {sigh}
Linode wanted me to write for them last year; I missed it

Which points up that #Rackspace has become too expensive. I need to move to a better cloud platform -- preferably an affordable #Linux-friendly one that will send #SMS #text #messages on alerts, and not just #email.
I also have to #automate my #provisioning. So much to do..

It’s amazing to me just how far ahead of every other VPS provider Hetzner is in terms of server provisioning times. ~2× faster than their nearest competitor. They’re wiping the floor with the rest. For an industry obsessed with performance, this must be very embarrassing for their competitors.
