But it does read everything else I throw at it, surprisingly enough. I'll definitely take it when those teeth are practically gone. It's not important for me to have that working on that console, because I can use it on my , & my SCPH-90001 slim is the I use for playing PS1 games. But options are nice to have & I'd like to test it someday.

Interesting that there isn't an alternative laser arm for all fat consoles that also make the gear teeth themselves metal (that I know of). 🧵

TIL there are individual replacement parts for optical drives available for sale. Not just the laser like I initially thought, but things like laser arms, elevation arms, and worm motor. I honestly thought stuff like that wasn't available. Someday, I might replace the laser arm in my fat console so I could test with my exploit game. I've previously cleaned both lasers (which means taking off the plastic shell of the laser itself) and elevated the worm screw slightly with paper... 🧵

Ce soir, ça sera surtout un hommage à Phoenix Games.
Je continue avec la cover de Cartoon Kingdom avec du dalmatiens Disney style sur la jaquette, mais aussi Coco Lapin, des souris dégueux sûrement là pour faire apprendre l'anglais aux enfants, sans oublier un smiley sous LSD.

Peter Pan du même studio était pas mal aussi...
Et c'est marrant car, ingame, les jeux n'avaient pas du tout le même style visuel. En tout cas, ces 3 jeux là ressemblaient plus à des mini game (style puzzles, etc) dans un style graphique plus proche des Zelda foireux du CD-i.

Je remets ce vieux thread sur de magnifiques covers de jeux vidéo. Pas envie qu'il disparaisse. A l'époque où j'étais en coloc avec L'aspi, on avait tout compilé dans un dossier une multitude d'illustrations très laides qu'on trouvait dans les magasins ou sur le net.

Watching Pikasprey play Silent Hill Shattered Memories got me interested in replaying it after all of these years. It has great music, great atmosphere, & the whole "psychological profiling" & what you do in-game changes the gameplay a lot. Plus it'll be interesting seeing this game through my adult eyes & different perspective vs when I played this in my teens.

cramps seem to have been getting stronger for me as of late. Granted, I take birth control for , so it's technically withdrawal bleeding. But still, I notice they've been a bit more painful. I've mainly been chilling with some games on the & . Been playing Silent Hill & SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom (in widescreen on real hardware!) for the first time.
