I bet most people still don't realise that the process of stopping old style #telephone lines is well under way, and in an increasing number of exchanges in the UK you cannot buy (or take over from another provider/customer) a simple old fashioned #BT phone line any more. And, in just a couple of years, the existing lines will be ceasing. Fun times. #PSTN #WLR

Am I in wrong, to say that the #UK #PSTN switch-over in 2025 & consequences/actions of it.

Are extremely poorly communicated...

I.e it sounds like a bonfire of analogue equipment/end of the world.

Without mentioning that already today, A signification amount of people/businesses use IP telephony with their existing analogue alarms/faxes/other devices.
