This is just a little mock up for an #artinstallation I’m working on, to be exhibited next month at the #carceralgeography conference in Melbourne.

The actual gown is an appropriated object from my years of psych hospitalisation.

The work reflects on the violating, and yet ludicrous (to me) idea of nursing obs in the context of #trauma & #madness.

Viewers will need to adopt a kind of #psychiatricgaze and violate social norms by peering inside the gown to see my painted work.
