And now there are generally two types of people: one group (although sometimes a bit disappointed) agrees to leave the setting on.
The other group insists on keeping the setting off to, "see the beginning of our friendship years later".
Yeah, most of the time I never hear from the second group of people ever again. I try to start a conversation again multiple times but usually they are not really interested.

This observation isn't 100% accurate but it often enough holds true that I'm not considering it "random" anymore.

Naive realism is the belief that you perceive the world as it truly is. While this way sound like a an argument for the existence fairies and ghosts, it is actually a reference to a blindspot in that goes beyond our to operations

New study finding: Toddlers will help dogs get toys and treats, even without prompting.

Interesting - maybe we begin life with capability to share and empathise, but society and/or neurological changes erode the skill in some. No wonder these are qualities to treasure.

I would love to explore therapy and cultivate a relationship with the 'right' therapist. But I can't imagine doing this with someone who isn't anti-capitalist, or someone without a critical analysis of power.

Is there some branch (field? type? practice?) of therapists that might attract such folks? Is there some "tell" or jargon that might tip me off? Is there anything to help me narrow down the possibilities... or at least remove the no-ways?

Is this asking too much? Does capital "P" Psychology have too much "individualism" at its professional roots and thus select out the radicals?

I mean if my therapist doesn't grok the "It's Not Monday You Hate, It's Capitalism" meme, how are we ever going to talk about my moods
