How does the Dark Triad relate to our cultural sociopolitics and socioeconomics?

Imagine a social system that reward's the most corrupt people. A system where anyone, whatever their personality, their morality, can succeed.

Similar to a national lottery, a game of chance where the most deceitful, horrible, violent, person could win billions of pounds. The rotten people, the bad people, have as much chance to win, as the good people.

But, what if the system actually increased the chances of the corrupt being successful? - because the system is a badly regulated "free" market capitalism.

What would the 'rotten' people in such a system do? Lie to sell products that they knew caused harm? (E.g., greenwash). Cause wars so as to destroy the competition, access resources, & make a killing by selling products. For example, selling fossil fuels at artificially inflated prices. In such a system, would weapon industries lobby governments? Would the food, and animal industries lobby governments? Industries ( corporations) that influenced governments to design policies that were not in the interests of the citizen's welfare? Not in the interest of sustainable development and equity.

In our current economic system, money is social power. And yet, in general, money isn't rewarded on the basis of good deeds. In fact, all too often, quite the opposite (in the context of the rich "elite" or "1%" that own, control, and influence cultures)

Capitalism promotes greed. Greed epistemically pollutes people's "souls" (their characters). Greed is polluting our planet.

Shouldn't good deeds pay? Shouldn't caregivers, for example, nurses, be paid more than football players? Shouldn't the truth sell more products than lies? Shouldn't good people, sincere people, be leaders?

Money doesn't make a person. But, money can help people appear more civilized, in an economic system where not having money causes a multitude of stressful circumstances (e.g., hunger, trying to pay the rent, etc).

The fuel industries have made record profits since Russia (Putin) invaded Ukraine. The weapons industries have also probably made huge profits (l haven't checked).

Corruption (evil) has power. A power whose aims are not social equity and sustaining ecosystems.
