Climbing up to this little 2,000ft peak was so much fun! I sat down and had my sandwich and a big ole grin, and then promptly after this photo I lost the trail and had to crawl through lots of brush in order to find it again.
Ultimately the sun and heat beat me pretty hard by the end of the run —and I ran out of water, which has never happened to me before—but that first section was gorgeous. #TrailRunning #training #PtMugu #california

Great time at Pt. Mugu today; First Responder day at the airshow. Rehearsal runs from the Blue Angels AND Thunderbirds...my cheeks are aching still from smiling at the noise. Awesome.
