#onthisday in 1903, Frederick Law Olmsted died in #belmontma at the age of 81. With his partner Calvert Vaux, he designed #centralpark in #manhattan and #prospectpark in #brooklyn. The father of #landscape #architecture in the #usa he designed #parks and #gardens all over the country.
