I don't know if #PublicRadioCanada will ever be anything more than a hashtag or if it's something that needs to be built for 2026.

Finding possible radio shows to use is an interesting project.
I'll add more links in the coming days/weeks.

I was pleasantly surprised to find how many shows were available on RTE.
Very cool.

I haven't even started looking at BBC radio yet. Might need a show to find my way around all of the shows. It's going to take some time.

If #CBC gets crushed by right-wingers in 2026 and we are forced to build #PublicRadioCanada from scratch then I'd like this show included in the schedule.

Maybe they'll us broadcast older episodes of the show (if we ever get there).
Don't know how much it would cost.

Going to start putting together links to some fantastic radio shows on #CBCRadio.

If #PublicRadioCanada needs to startup in a hurry in 2026 then do not assume that anyone would have access to any of the older CBC shows.

If PP+Cons want to be sinister about crushing the #CBC then they might not let anyone use the CBC name.

It might take some time to put together some Canadian shows for a regular schedule - might need to use shows from around the world during startup.

I'm looking at #PublicRadio stations around the world to see if I can find enough news and documentary shows (that can be streamed) to put together a 12-hour daily show.

Some of these stations have music programs that can be streamed.
It might be possible to find 12 hours of daily music shows that can be streamed to make up a 24/7 stream .

Hopefully I can find something to listen to if #CBC gets crushed in 2026.
#PublicRadioCanada need not start from scratch.

I'm not sure how much time the CBC has left.
The minority government can fall at anytime.
The next election must be called by the fall of 2025.
If the right-wingers win in 2025 then expect a spring 2026 budget (3 years away).
There's a petition on their web site to defund the CBC.
If the Libs survive then the Cons will likely win the election after that.
Eventually the CBC will be crushed to the horror of so many.
Now is the time to start organizing #PublicRadioCanada
