2013 Gushù Bādá from Puerh.SK. Young to middle age raw puerh, fairly clean storage character. Don't know much else about the tea, was included as a sample with another order. (Glad I replaced our water filter before brewing!)

Inspired by his Mom's tea drinking habits, in 2021 Peter from Pu-Erh.SK was inspired to have his Thai producer process some of the Maocha intended for Puerh as red tea. He calls it "Red Wine" and the name is entirely appropriate. On the fruity/herby side of black tea with great length of flavor and resteepability.

2006 Mengku from Pu-Erh.sk. The clean storage on this makes it a nice contrast with the similar aged Yunnan Sourcing 2004 Big Snow Mountain Mengku the other day. The 2006 is probably a better tea, but it is much earlier in its evolution than the wet stored 2004. Raw Puerh perception spot check with 2009 "Douji's Jingmai" from Pu-Erh.SK. I think this was a part of a sample set which featured "Douji's Pure Series" raw puerh cakes. Smoky, sweet, bitter; powerful energy.
