In this culture, you only have #value for your #productive life or #reproductive life. Before that and after that, you are a #burden and an unnecessary expense, a drain on #society. Since we have not cultivated a soil where #wisdom can flourish, we have instead a human desert, where the elders among us rise to #power as #ideologues, #demagogues, #fools, and #puerile #bullies.
