Here's my repair kit on my commuter. 3 cable ties, spare front and back light, head torch for night time repairs, bike spanner, 15mm spanner for back axle, small screwdriver, electrical tape, 3 gas charges to inflate tubes, charger leads to charge from my front light, Allen keys, and a spare tube.

Do you think it's excessive, just about right, or have I forgotten anything?

If anyone needs me, I'll be here by the side of this motorway in Kildare for the next 60-90 minutes. Punctured, I can change the wheel, except when the wheel has bonded to the brakes... #puncture #weekendFail

#Puncture during #Sheffield deliveries. Luckily bridge nearby to fix without getting wet

Earlier today my car gave me a low tyre pressure warning. Sensibly I stopped as soon as I could and have a quick look around, and decided to finish my journey before getting the compressor out.
One tyre was much lower so they all got checked and pumped up.

The warning didn't go away, and now I am wondering if it is the spare that is going flat.
Will check that tomorrow and see if it clears the warning.
Also need to see if I have a puncture!

I hate that I feel like a #drug #seeker when I asked to be put under during imaging that involves a #spinal #puncture or #epidural. I have had 7 #blood #patches, a #myelogram, and am now facing a nuclear #pleglet study to detect #CSF fluid in my sinus' and a dynamic myelogram. Every time I end up with massive muscles #spasms in my lower back or they ice pick my #sciatic nerve and #electric shocks shoot down my leg and it moves on its own. I ask because the #pain is always so bad.

Had a satisfying morning bike ride. I've been using Vittoria AirLiners in my tubeless tyres for about a month, but today was the first puncture that the sealant couldn't fix.

The Airliner did its job and although the tyre was a bit squashy and squirmy I was able to finish the last 15 km of my planned ride at the same 25kph that I'd done the first 30km. "Would recommend."

I found the rear tyre totally flat with a sharp blade of metal sticking out.

@heinzskunk Ich hätte es nicht beschreien sollen. Aber nach weiteren 11km durch die Altglassammlung #Frankfurt s hat dann mein Hinterrad aufgegeben. Zum Glück war ich schon in der Innenstadt und konnte nach 1km Fußweg das ganz in Ruhe im Büro begutachten und flicken.

Love a #flextime afternoon off for some #mtb #cycling #velophants. Not so much fun when it's - #puncture about a mile or so out (oops, no sealant) - decide to walk back home rather than faff putting tube in - get fed up and put tube in - decide if the tube is in I might as well ride - get to turn point - puncture again - pump up - ride a bit - pump up again - ride a bit more - pump up a third time and make it home.

Still #betterthanwork!

That's got it. Not so much an anchovy as a whale.

No wonder I was stopping every 5 minutes on the ride home to pump this up. Now I just have to wipe down the sealant all over the garage.

Thankfully I have ordered 2 of the last 3 AirLiners on Wiggle to fix this once and for all. All hail Vittoria!

Not quite the required pressure in the 🛞

Big thanks to #RAC for attending within 80 mins, swapping wheels to get me home and putting original back for replacement by mobile fitter in next 60 minutes.

Thoroughly pleasant mechanic and couldn’t have been more helpful.
