Five of the past #Buddhas are considered Cosmic Buddhas. They abide in their #PureLand where they continue to work for the salvation of all sentient beings. Over time they were associated with distinct correspondences. These associations help - at least me- to recognize who is who in the vast Buddhist pantheon.

The culture of mastodon #introduction is counterintuitive to me. Will it endure with growth?

I’m still unsure of the value or importance of maintaining a public face in social media. The preceding decades suggest it’s a liability for people who aren’t already public figures, or at least might be.

How well do people separate their public and private faces in social media? Does the public persona reentrench a fixed notion of a self?

Should you have multiple purpose specific profiles just to keep things separated? What a hassle! I’d rather just do the things.

I’ll try to strike a path down the middle.
