Following my post yesterday about the Coral mosque in Putra Jaya, across an expanse of water is this mosque. It has the distinction of not having walls, and has the capacity to fit 40,000. It's is much simpler in design and decoration but still lovely. Any breeze wafts through, which is great for a very hot climate.
I love visiting Malaysia for the halal food, the call to prayer in the early hours, the food and the warmth of the people.

One of my favourite places to visit is the coral pink mosque in Putra Jaya, Malaysia. It's incredibly gorgeous, a beautiful place to worship, filled with serenity. Just being there is healing.
Generally, I'm not a fan of spending large on grand buildings for worship, I'd rather the money was spent on the welfare of the people who frequent them. Simplicity is a component of humility, it shows where a society puts its priorities.
This is the exception.
