After a little break, code sprints are back at #pyconuk this year: https://2023.pyconuk.org/sprints/
I'm putting together a #CodeOfConduct for an online community that's also hosting a public event in a couple of months and I'm probably going to base it on a combination of #PyConUK's excellent one[1] and the comprehensive Geek Feminism one[2], but if anyone has other suggestions of gold standard ones, do let me know!

I'm a #Python conference run annually in the UK.
This year, I'll be at the wonderful #Cardiff City Hall,
from Friday 22nd - Monday 25th September.
I try to be as inclusive as I can.
I have a financial assistance programme, a free creche, speech-to-text reporters in the main hall, I'm run at an accessible venue, and I have a quiet room if you need some time away from it all.
Follow me here to find out what's happening!

Hello! Is this thing on?
@christianp We have used slack at #pyconuk. It worked well. Needed consideration in terms of CoC and moderation.
An exhausting but enormously productive weekend kicking off the planning of #pyconuk 2023. We are going to have a fabulous conference for all of our lovely community :-)
2 days of great #python meetings coming to an end.
Yesterday was a #ukpa trustee meeting https://uk.python.org
Today has been the first #pyconuk 2023 organisation meeting. Hoping to make it the best pyconuk yet :)
Looking forward to heading home and seeing my dog (and my kids and my wife I suppose).
Having a bit of a disrupted train journey (spent the night in a hotel after running out of options to get there last night) to the UK Python trustees meeting to start planning #pyconuk 2023 :)
Looking forward to seeing and working with a great group of people.
Video: Python 3.11's new exception groups, explained by core developer Irit Katriel. 21 minutes long.
This talk covers how to use the new feature, how exception handlers will manipulate a tree of exceptions and exception groups, and the design rationale for the feature.
