Today I learned that the maintainer of #Peek, the #GIFRecording tool, stopped working on it in January. It wasn't working in my computer for a while. https://github.com/phw/peek/issues/1191 This is a bit sad, but one has to be grateful for the time while it worked. Wonderful interface. Lots of my skech-a-day posts, tutorials and support sessions with students benefited from a #GIF made with it.

I've been using Blue Recorder on and off and decided to try #pypeek https://github.com/firatkiral/pypeek today, it looks promising.

I also have some PNG to GIF #Pillow scripts to use with #py5 https://github.com/villares/sketch-a-day/blob/main/admin_scripts/pngs_to_gif.py because it gives me more control than using the py5 export tool: https://py5coding.org/reference/py5tools_animated_gif.html
