93 followers · 11 posts · Server hachyderm.ioIs there any *good* type-checker for python? But I really mean a good one... I had bad experiences with mypy being not smart enough and even pyre-check can't handle `Optional` types correctly (similar issue with mypy).
Should I just give up on trying to have a better experience with python and just accept the fact that it is an inherently bad language to type-check?

For #IndieThursday I want to highlight Supergiant Games. I had the pleasure to play their game Bastion at PAX East 2011 and have loved their work ever since.
Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, Hades - all of them have been special to me and have been a joy to play. The attention Hades has been getting is well deserved and I can't wait for Hades 2, their first sequel. :blobcatgamer:

Visual novel plus Fantasy Religious Basketball Ceremony is certainly an innovation. It was very fresh and interesting in the beginning, but definitely became a drudge for me toward the middle. It just didn't captivate me enough that I really wanted to play 25 rounds or whatever it ended up being, and there wasn't really enough going on between the matches that it kept me from feeling that I was just playing one after the other.
