Been trying to find a better way to do #art, and this little #goblin #pyromaniac #pyrokinesis is basically the resulting of dipping back into old styles with new techniques! Really happy with how he turned out.

In microgravity, flames are spherical and able to burn with less fuel. They can also burn at a lower temperature. Regular (hot) fire burns at ~1700°C (3100°F), depending on fuel. "Cool flames" burn around 480°C (900°F) and are invisible. Understanding these could improve #fire safety in #space and expand our understanding of combustion in general. It could even mean cleaner, more #efficient engine #technology someday.

@Suzy_Harlington If I'm teaching you suck eggs let me know but after the fire is laid I always twist up a couple of sheets of news paper into a long tight roll, ignite it then put that up the chimeny to get heat & an updraft into the chimney; then as it dies down light the main fire. hope this helps. #Pyromaniac
