I have been telling my boss & production how important time logging is (for 5years) and they always just ignored me. Now that artists are using my time logging app suddenly prod are saying to me, 'omg we can now work out how much each asset cost to make!'. Yeah! Good Morning... now you can make smarter schedule choices too. Eeey, sucks that I have to drag people into understanding the value of things.

Starting out with #QML, #QtQuick, and #PySide2 from #Qt. Took some time to get comfortable not using findObject() and setProperty(). Old habits die hard. Using #Python class / Qt properties and signals & slots keeps the code well decoupled. I like how _quick_ it is to build a basic non-traditional interface.
