@kumachan
The best shell out there is obviously #qbsh, though, right? https://qbsh.org
@vwbusguy@pixelfed.social I was pretty proud of my own #Christmas #music written in #BASIC via @qb64 in #qbsh, but I have to admit that the #Commodore64 one takes it up a notch with the animations to go with it!
(The CHRISTMAS command is an Easter egg in https://qbsh.org )
#commodore64 #qbsh #basic #music #christmas
@qb64 Incidentally, I have no MacOS or Windows or *BSD environment to test with, so if you do and want to contribute by testing out #qbsh on one of those platforms and/or submitting pull requests, it's some nice low hanging fruit and might be a good way to polish up on your #BASIC skills in the process. (And yes, I do support #ARM as well as x86 and welcome any contributions for either.)
Fun fact about #qbsh, I programed in a #Christmas themed "Easter Egg". It unfortunately doesn't work (without significant effort) from a container, but if you call the CHRISTMAS command, you'll get a fun treat (make sure your speakers aren't muted). You can run or compile it with @qb64 and it *should* work for Windows and MacOS as well as #Linux.
Idea - make a little modern #OsborneOne that boots to #qbsh and has two SD card slots on either side of the screen.
(qbsh is one of my own side projects - https://qbsh.org )
