I hope Project Volterra has more than 16Gigs of RAM. Otherwise that eco friendly "recycled ocean plastic" is still an e-waste. Is this the we were waiting for? Will we see a AND logo on the SystemReady ES page?

is a company that can basically do no right (never deliver the product they promise, slow delivery times, extremely guarded & uncooperative with their chips, sinfully bad support & lifecycle) but i still was excited to see them branch out & get server side & in desktop.

today qcom announces the whole server thing isn't going to happen, damn. without a radically better pricing & improved performance, their always connected pc's are definitely not going to go anywhere either.

/openwrt are doing an interesting job compiling all the software drops, making better use of the hardware. abandoning that is hard but atm i'd rather a slow network processor that is regular to my infrastructure () than a full juice hw. this assumes i get enough of the basic wifi capabilities that i need but those i think are largely in kernel, chipset based.
