I am considering several design choices and came by with the idea of vertical moxons hung from fishing poles. I wonder how this would compare to horizontal and higher hung #antenna. Interwebs gave me no answer. I aim to make it simple and compact and vertical idea is good for that goal but I want this to be my efficient antenna so... Any ideas?

Another semi successful #hamradio #fieldday. I meant to try my new 10.8m #randomwireantenna and #ARDOP #pat but apparently living in a mega city with buildings and #rf pollution makes things hard. Barely connected OE5XIR and HB9AK with 10 watts on 20 and 30 meter. 4 out of 5 packets fail to decode and connection drops. Good side my linked dipole and random wire rocks 😎 lets get a little higher ground and try again...

I get together a #qrp kit and wonder what might be reasonable to carry along just for in case situations. I got a variety of adapters but besides that everything that I think of just too heavy to justify.

Transmitting #wspr tonight to see if my #antenna works properly. It was good before but I strung up to some higher tree. Let's see if it made any difference. There is still higher trees =)

While I am pretty advanced GNU/Linux user I find official guides quite confusing and others lacking.
