A2: First, as a non-radio means of confirming a QSO, paper QSLs are obsolete. Lots of fun, fun to collect, etc, but obsolete. #LOTW is the best modern way of confirming despite the #ARRL's inept operation of same.

That said, I have envelopes on file at the W5 incoming buro & have, in the past, used the outgoing buro.

beautiful #qsl card I picked up while loitering on #17m #ft8.

This #QSLcard is from Sept 1946 and the US occupied district of Berlin. Europe was still in turmoil during this period with the massive physical destruction from #WWII as well as the resettlement of tens of thousands of displaced persons concurrent with the movement of ethnic Germans back into Germany. The #ColdWar would begin to manifest less than two years after this QSO with Stalin's blockade of the rail lines and roads into Berlin.

Well after about 22 years, I finally rand out of #QSL cards. Time to order some more since I have about 100 Buro cards to answer #hamradio

My brother and I will be operating as a 2B - battery station from my family's homestead farm. We'll be using my call.

There may be pictures of an old barn taken.

We're still ironing out plans but we may take advantage of the 27 hour time limit if we start set up at 1800 UTC. We're both #POTA and #SOTA operators do getting the stations up probably won't take much time.

Hope to get some digital out with my new Crow Pi in addition to #SSB.

After my #hamhiatus, one of the new things I've found out about is #LoTW. I only recently submitted some WSJT logs, and I have a few hits. While it's efficient, #QSL cards are still pretty nice.
