@theavidhorizon It seems to be okay. I've used it a bit. More stable than other KDEs I've used.
But I spend most of my time in #qtile
I got the right Epoch now. So my date for the 2 year challenge displays properly. My bar is lookin better now. Still a work in progress. We are almost there.
I'm a happy camper as have got a work around for my issue running #Qutebrowser under #Qtile #Wayland which wouldn't allow me to upload images to Fosstodon if the window was tiled. Although this work around works the issue is still being kept open for now by the devs until they find out why.
For those it affects just pop this into your floating layout config:
Match(func=lambda c: c.is_transient_for()), # automatically float a window if it has a parent
New #qtile theme. Some more gruvbox, but this time with some special sauce in the Groupboxb widget. All those colors!
Started a fresh since moving from Arch to #VoidLinux and re did my #Qtile #Wayland #Dotfiles . I have also included in the README how I install Qtile from their git repo.
There may be mistakes but hopefully I've got most already.

The power of FOSS
December 2020 this solution was posted on Github to my current question in Qtile. Amazing contribs by people way more knowledgeable than me. Thnx a million!
I need to stop procrastinating at some point and actually get on ticking off things from my ever growing to-do list. The most important things are adding some more blog posts on my updated #aerc setup and how I install #Qtile from their #git repo for running under #wayland on #VoidLinux .
I've also a ton of updates to push to my own git repo for the many changes I've made to my dotfiles.
Not tonight though maybe next week we'll see. 馃檭
#aerc #qtile #git #wayland #voidlinux
Only one issue found so far with the latest git repo #Qtile and that's on startup my screens / bars are the wrong way around but on stable with the same configs for both qtile and kanshi they are correct. Time to find out what's changed that would affect that ?
PS I am running under #Wayland so it may just be an issue there ?
Woke up today and it seems quite dark still. Looked out of the window and it's blowing a gale and absolutely chucking it down with rain !
So I guess that I won't be cutting the grass today then.
In that case today is going to be all about #python aka getting #qtile - #Wayland running on my dual screen setup and looking to see if I can get the latest #Qutebrowser built and tested on #VoidLinux
#python #qtile #wayland #qutebrowser #voidlinux
Been testing the git master version of #Qtile running under #Wayland and all seems to be good in the hood. So tomorrow I'm going to install it onto my dual screen daily driver to see if any show stopping issues occur as the next release is most definitely imminent.

Getting scratchpads working again, working on the bar... May as well fully redo my #Qtile config. What a fun thing to do to finish my day off!
So here I am rewriting my #Qtile setup and we have our 7 year old granddaughter staying over who invited her cousin 6 to stay too. So yeah you guessed it I'm not getting much done. Where's the wine !? 馃ぃ
@Wyatt I wonder if this is the issue ? In the #Qtile docs and as noted in the #ArchLinux AUR package qtile-wayland-git one of the dependencies is python-dbus-next yet this package doesn't exist in #VoidLinux
So now on #VoidLinux you can install either the package qtile for X11 support or qtile-wayland for running under Wayland thanks to 膼o脿n Tr岷 C么ng Danh

@Qper First we need to get the lovely #VoidLinux devs to add pywlroots, pywayland and python-xkbcommon so you can build it from the #Qtile git repo and install with pip.
Somebody did try earlier this year but gave up.

Whoah @mcol has just merged a ton wlroots16 PRs to the #Qtile repo so my guess and fingers crossed is that a new release may be imminent ? 馃
