A terrain I modified in #Gaea. This is one of the built-in quick start terrains, which I've colorized by combining a pair of SatMaps nodes, one from the Depth output of the Lakes node via an Fx node set to Equalize, the other from the Output via an unaltered Fx node. The effect was to turn the lakes into muddy sloughs, and the higher elevations into grassy ridges.
Crossposting this to my Pixelfed account until I can figure some interoperability between both tools.
Here's another terrain generated in #Gaea. This one only uses four nodes:
- a Crater field with high scale & depth, but low density
- an Erosion node with the Gentle Downcutting preset
- an Fx node from the Deposit output with the Eq effect
- a SatMaps node with map 0023 under Sandy
