Definitely not missing the pings, though. It's like I've been sent back to my HPB days when 250 ping was the norm, and idk why most every #Quake2 remaster server is like that

There is a warm fuzzy feeling I get, though, showing new players little secrets here and there. It's so rare that I get to nerd out with the game that defined my youth, and I gotta do something while I wait for my kid to grow up enough to play with me.

Completed #Quake2 enhanced, about 50 hours to 100% at a leisurely pace. The new engine brings new life to the game and I had a very good time. It's like $10, or you could be paying $50 for an 8-year old game on Switch, your choice.

For about a month now, anytime I'm feeling upset, I've been turning to #Quake2 to blow off steam. Burned my dinner? Quake 2. Stubbed my toe? Quake 2. Bills come in the mail? Quake 2.

It doesn't really work but damn my ZD Ratio is soaring.

I'm gonna be that girl and talk about how funny it is that before the remaster was released, vids about #Quake2 on YT talked of it being the forgotten id software game, the game that typified the "dark age" of id as a company...

... and now I'm seeing a steady release of vids insisting that you play the game RIGHT NOW, you have to understand the GENIUS that is Quake 2, it's a master class of FPS titles, etc. etc. etc.

Hace no mucho (marzo según mis notas https://56k.es/fanta/juegos-que-me-he-pasado/ ) me pasé #Quake remasterizado sobre nintendo switch.

Por lo visto salió el Quake2 remasterizado y también para switch (a 9 euros). De modo que creo que voy a pasar estos últimos días de vacaciones pasándome tranquilamente este maravilloso juego.

En PC me lo he pasado en un día normalmente. Es el quake que más me gusta.

Pero dicen que esta versión es realmente muy buena. Ya informaré sobre #quake2 por aquí.

Voy a disfrutar !

I’m really digging the #Quake2 remaster. This really brings me back!

Continuing my goal of playing #Quake2 backwards; doing the expansions first. The Reckoning was exceptionally good. Ground Zero isn't as bad as the rep it gets, well at least from the perspective of the remaster. It was definitely the most difficult to navigate with a *lot* of level back-and-forth
