#Philosophers say funny stuff about #logic. For example:
““Everything” should be read as expressing exactly the universal quantifier of classical first-order predicate logic … [which is] neither “tensed” nor “tenseless”… [Quantifiers] are not verbs.”
Is it not the case that first-order logic is tenseless for the mundane reason that it is insensitive to #tense? What am I missing?
