18. Quantumania (2023) Me lo he pasado pipa viéndola. Es una peli de aventuras con un toque muy naif y un rollo muy loco, a lo Rick & Morty a veces, que le da un toque imprevisible. Me han encantado Michelle Pfeiffer (al fin se hace justicia tanto a la actriz como al personaje) y Jonathan Majors (pese a que es un maltratador, por desgracia). Entretenida y resultona, aunque debes hacer concesiones en lo que respecto a algún acabado técnico o diseño (sobre todo de vestuario).

The best parts of #Quantumania were the beginning and end when you hear Scott's inner monologue as he walks down the street, and so much is insecurity and anxiety despite all of his efforts to remain positive.

It does have what may be—given the context, delivery, and editing—the best movie line of all time:

Hétvégén megnéztük az #Air -t és a #quantumania -t. Amíg az első egy kellemes szórakoztató film volt (a story nyilván nem volt új), addig a második,nos egy leágazó franchise földet érése.

So I just watched #quantumania and it was as bad as everyone says. It's like they tried to remake Ragnarok but with a macguffin. Ragnarok though was not only fun it also dealt with complex themes of colonial legacy and how we deal with them in the modern world.

Ant-man on the other hand was about... I don't know, Kang bad maybe. I think it wanted to be about modern injustice and not looking the other way but was too unfocused and ended up saying nothing.

One thing I love in the #mcu's #Quantumania is how accepting Hank is of Janet's various revelations. Usually in these sorts of things they try to play up the survivor's partner feeling betrayed, with a whole, "I don't know you anymore" motif, but Hank is just supportive and sympathetic. That shouldn't be unusual, but it really is!
