Last Feb. the Quantum Australia conference was the first chance for the #quantumcomputing community in Australia to get together since 2019. It had a real exciting buzz, as so much had moved forward in that time.

Next Feb. I will be at the 2023 version answering questions about #quantumchemistry on #quantumcomputers. Not sure yet how controversial my thoughts will be! 😈

checkout Harper Grimsley's latest paper. It turns out that if you take a newton-raphson step from HF to Unitary CCSD, you get equations _almost_ identical to CEPA - but with a rigorous and simple foundation for further improvements.
