The result? We can stay at the low-qubit limit and yet craft highly expressive circuits, sidestepping those tricky barren plateaus.

In practical terms, our parallel exponential architecture outperformed existing linear ones, reducing the mean square error value by up to 44% in a test. For the #QuantumTech enthusiasts, we've successfully demonstrated this technique on a trapped ion QPU!

This method offers a solution for those working on #QuantumTech hardware, as it presents a new alternative to chemical-based copper plating. The procedure is simple and efficient and leads to a uniform metal coating. #Sputtering

The magnetron-sputtered coating in our preprint did not show delamination from the glass substrate, even at a critical load of 60 N. This demonstrates the strong adhesion thanks to the unique surface structure created by the laser. #SurfaceEngineering

On Monday we had Araceli Venegaz-Gomez from #QURECA in #SG at an event hosted by #QYRA speaking about the global perspective on the developments in #quantum technologies.

Given the amount of funding flowing into the #quantumtech sector requisition of the right workers for the emerging jobs will be a bottleneck. Some of this is obvious, e.g. for a while people trained in quantum physics will be able to pick among offers but such a situation may not sustain because companies may put into place processed for retraining people from other sectors. Another question is, will the academic system manage to provide the right amount of quantum professionals, quantum engineers? If the trends will sustain then a large workforce will be needed.
