Can't beat a bit of warm afternoon #quaxing in the shade...

@GordonOfSeattle when the 1st kid was a toddler, I got this trailer and mainly used it as a stroller to walk them to the grocery store and bring stuff home. Later, coupling the trailer to their bike let them pedal the whole way there and back with a boost from me jogging along behind. Earlier, when #Quaxing, I deliberately took the back lanes, to avoid cars.
That meant cycling with 2 panniers and 2 podsacs jam-packed with groceries, up and over many hills along the 10 miles back home. One of those hills topped out at 20% and my legs sure felt that!
I was rather glad I didn't also have the trailer hooked up, laden with yet more groceries!

Apparently there was a politician there who said no one would ever shop via biking, walking, or public transit on twitter. And people took it as a challenge and turned his name into a verb for a hashtag to mean any sort of errands run without a car. #Quaxing

Since my t̶r̶u̶c̶k̶ cargo bike is being fixed up I decided to do my delivery pickup the old fashioned way with my safety bike.

I actually got it for our little dog, who's too old to go on rides of a few miles, but I've used it for #quaxing a fair few times.

Another great activity that can be enjoyed from the salubrious surroundings of a cargo bike - blackberry picking & atin'. Could this also be #quaxing? 😛🤤 #BikeTooter

Topping up Vern (our GSD) & Pepper (my HSD). Our home policy for charging large Li-Ion batteries: wait for them to cool down, do it outside if possible, always supervised. Seemed like a nice day to chill out back. I love how the Bosch system on Vern will charge both batteries at once, nice and evenly.
