Unsubscribed from the #Qubit newsletter. I've messaged the editor recently about their coverage of the dangers of AI but it fell on deaf ears.
Their latest issue had a big section on the topic, but they are still parroting the SV techbro lines (they think the singularity is only a few years away) and failed to mention both the climate cost and the research of Timnit Gebru.
If anyone knows a similar newsletter in #Hungary that isn't pop sci crap and employs actual journalists, let me know.
