I could not forget that most, if not all, of the people around me would condemn me if they knew. They would see me as someone to fix at the best, or an enemy at the worst. I felt like a spy, like an undercover operative.

There is no Scriptural basis for these arbitrary rules. Nowhere in the Bible does it say we shouldn’t call ourselves “gay” or “queer” or “LGBTQ+” or any of the other “gay identity language.”

the honorific i use is mx.

but at church i am definitely a sister.

walking in and being "sister wednesday" is nice and does not feel like a misinterpretation of me. being a sister is a role that i fill well.

Umm okay. I'm officially tired. I'm reading Numbers (the book in the Bible) and for a moment I thought it talked about the Festival of Tentacles 🐙 even though I know very well it's Tabernacles.
