Le couple Thibault-Wouters s’est marié le 18 juillet 2002, au palais de justice de Montréal. Leur union a pu être officialisée grâce à la loi 84, adoptée en juin de la même année par l’Assemblée nationale, qui créait l’union civile, destinée à tous les couples, peu importe leur orientation sexuelle.
Le mariage entre deux personnes de même sexe ne sera légal au Canada que le 20 juillet 2005, après la proclamation royale de la Loi fédérale sur le mariage civil."

I am very interested in sharing children's books. I am a parent of a 7 year old and I am working with young people. We are speaking and reading in German - but I often choose translated books. For me it is very important to offer kids stories with a broad range of topics and perspectives, especially marginalized ones.
