#Babel von R.F.#Kuang: Tolles Buch, alle Preise verdient. Wünsche mir wie immer eine formale Einlösung inhaltlicher Punkte (Diversifizierung, andere Stimmen). Der Text ist handwerklich äußerst geschmeidig, aber eben auch dramaturgisch, sprachlich konventionell. Ich sehne mich nach Texten, die andere Welten auch anders erzählen, nicht vor der Folie von Genrestandards agieren. Repräsentation reicht nicht. Gebe aber zu, dass das alles schwieriger macht (Gatekeeping, Erfolg). #literatur #queering
