I love that in this book there's an enby character on the genetics team.

Why are they enby?

Because they are.

There doesn't have to be a reason for someone to be who they are. They're not a plot device. They're not used for anything special, aside from their position on the team. They just are.

Same as in real life.

Just saw the Dead End Paranormal Park was cancelled. Another really good show with queer representation ends up a Netflix casualty.

At least the 2nd season finale was “merely” a storyline conclusion setting up future stories instead of a cliffhanger. Ugh

THIS. I still don't think I've ever seen media representation of someone like me who didn't even realise they liked people other than "the opposite sex" until they were 17, and didn't realise (bc biphobia) that that meant I were allowed to call myself bi/queer until I was in my 30s, and then had to deal with "feeling behind" people who were half my age. I wanna see adult queers with imposter syndrome in the media. I wanna see people who only worked it out later in life due to comphet. People (again like me) who lived as cis for 30 years before something clicked and they went "HANG on." All these people. There are so many of us and half the reason there's so many of us is that we never see anyone else like us.
