159 followers · 90 posts · Server neurodifferent.meSometimes I'm worried that my gender might be masculine(ish) Miyazaki film characters who really, really needed therapy but somehow avoided it by having a ✨girl✨ swoop in and do a lot of emotional labor to teach them a valuable life lesson. I think subconsciously I've avoided a desire to date women because I don't want to hurt them by accidentally putting them in that position, which causes me some level of gender dysphoria - I only have that level of self awareness from being hurt by people treating me like a manic pixie dream girl (thanks #autism ).
I really have no idea what to do about all this, considering I'm AFAB and find my current body really, really, really ridiculously good looking, but also want people to emotionally treat me as masculine? 😖 Also I am in #therapy. Also I have very bad imposter syndrome and constantly second guess my every feeling.
I wish there was a word to describe my experience so I could easily find and talk to people with similar struggles.

I've realized that if I have to consider whether or not I'm attracted to someone/an aspect of them, the answer is generally no.
I may like/ be attracted to them and have to consider why after I realize attraction is there, but not in the opposite order.

It's not something I usually think about, but like even before I had the excuse of "following around a woman's butt while I play games", I would pick the female character when given the option.

I am a #SingleMum. I have never been married and was not in a relationship with my child’s father. This can push a few boundaries with the kids, especially if they have quite #ConservativeParents.
I’m also an #atheist. I don’t promote that at work but if I get asked directed if I believe in #god, I don’t lie. Today I had the following conversation with one of my cherubs, who’s 6:
Kid: Do you think about #Jesus?
Me: Sometimes.
Kid: I think about Jesus a lot.
Me: Oh. Ok.
I wanted to tell her I did, too when I was that age, but it wasn’t in the way she does. I was #questioning if god was real and if Jesus even existed.
I hope her belief brings her peace or she grows out of it. Anything else is a waste.
Man, I’d love to go a week at work without an #existential question!

One last milestone reached in the last 2 days.
I am currently working at a big customer (we have a constant office there because we do a lot of onsite support).
The company i am working for is based in Taiwan, and from time to time the Leading team tours the world to visit the big customers (we operate world wide). The last 2 days 4 of out top leaders (president etc.) visited the company ..
Now i was thinking about my style .. should i wear my usual style(shorts, nylonleggings, legwarmers, barefooted) or better be a little bit more on the "normal" side.
I decided to stay with my usual style, and it was a good decision. No one really cared :o).
I love my company .. down to earth, judging ppl by what they do, not how they look .. we need more bosses like that!
