@epidiah Meaningful partial successes were also new to me when I came back to the hobby. It was in #QuestRPG, where a partial success means "GM presents a tough choice". I also like how #Starforged has that in every move, or Heart and Spire with stress (another brilliant, story-propelling idea). It's common now and I love it.

@hachx0 My four favourite RPGs are
- #HeartRPG for body horror dungeon crawls where players choose story beats that tell the GM exactly what they want from the story
- #Starforged has moves that make each action propel the story
- #QuestRPG is easy to pick up, has evocative abilities and a super friendly tone.
- #BladesInTheDark has a rich world and a brilliant system of flashbacks
All those are very different from DnD, mind.

In all truth, I think I should stop buying #TTRPG books, I have all I need to play all the sessions I can realistically fit into my life.
#HeartRPG for the body horror and story beats
#QuestRPG for the ease of entry and joyfulness of it
#IronswornStarforged for the oracles and evocative moves.
#BladesInTheDark for the gamey progression of the gang and flashbacks
I own many more very cool systems (Mausritter, Wanderhome and Fate come to mind), but those 4 are very close to my heart.

Brilliant session of #QuestRPG today! Our crew of seafaring exorcists/smugglers discovered they may have been working for the wrong side (though the side they're on has always been mainly their own). They performed spiritual surgery on the Spy. They dived for sunken treasure. They defeated two ships in naval combat and a relentless killer hand-to-hand. The Spy nearly died. (Big session for the Spy!)
This #AudioDrama, we're making #audiodrama! It's a recording day for a new Merely Roleplayers Studio production. And for me it's a chilled out one - I have a cameo as a supporting character but otherwise I'm just there to listen and enjoy the improv, and make sure the laptop doesn't crap out. We're playing #QuestRPG, and Josh is in the Guide's seat.
