Most vegetarians are young and are more vocal about preferring to eat vegetarian food while hospitalized.
A pilot project showed that there is an initial investment to be made in kitchen facilities
but the running costs remain the same. Also health benefits were achieved even for people that eat animals due to less need for supplements in the fresh food.
